“Un Cabinet Photographique” is a charitable organisation in Rennes that dedicates a lot of its time to sharing knowledge about photography through free amateur workshops for the residents of Maurepas. These workshops allow the general public to get to know their neighbourhood and to meet residents from other parts of Rennes. The goal is to enjoy a shared experience, learning how to read and create images using a variety of techniques such as pinhole or cyanotype, working at one’s rhythm to develop an artistic expression. This leads to discussions over a cup of tea or coffee and reinforces the social links between the residents.
For the GLAZ Festival, “Un Cabinet Photographique” will look for acts of love and rebellion in the urban landscape through the pinhole of their cameras.
