GLAZ PHOTO MARATHON

For its second edition, GLAZ Festival – International Encounters of Photography invites you to take part in the GLAZ Photo Marathon, a festive and participatory event.

Open to everyone — children and adults alike — this Photo Marathon invites photography enthusiasts and curious minds to explore the city of Rennes in a playful and sensitive way. Armed with a camera or smartphone, participants will be challenged to take six photos on six different themes, revealed throughout the day from the Théâtre de la Parcheminerie. In a spirit of conviviality, creativity, and fairness, walking will be the only permitted means of transport.

Afterwards, all photographs will be presented anonymously to a jury of image professionals. The winners will be announced during the award ceremony on Sunday, November 23, marking the close of the GLAZ Festival’s opening week. During the ceremony, all submitted photographs will be showcased in a public screening, and the winning portfolios will later be exhibited in Bessec store windows.
